About Us
Kate Woodward Young, M.Ed. and Carrie Casey have been business partners since 1999 and cousins since 1971. As third-generation entrepreneurs raising the fourth generation, their business passions ignited in elementary school, beginning with parallel paths as Girl Scouts selling cookies. By their early twenties, they had engaged in MLM, party businesses, started nonprofits, franchises and worked in their parents' enterprises.
Before turning twenty-one, they each launched their first business: Kate founded a printing business after her roles as a business analyst with the SBA and a WBE evaluator with WBENC, while Carrie established her first childcare center. Over the next twenty-five years, they ventured into publishing companies, real estate developments, house flipping, and staffing agencies—experiencing the highs and lows of entrepreneurship.
Their extensive journey has equipped them with invaluable insights, which they've shared through coaching and consulting with nearly five thousand entrepreneurs.
